Their dry fried chicken wings is really good and comparable to Santung. I would come back exclusively for this. Their dumplings are ok, not as good as Shanghai Dumpling House. And their green onion pancake is a miss, dense and not fluffy.

The service was slow and it's pretty clear that they've outgrown their current location and staff, but man was the food good. I had the vegetarian goose and the Xiao Long Bao and both were incredible. People rave about the XLB here, but I actually liked the goose more. The chefs managed to have so many textures and flavors in a simple tofu and mushroom dish.

Hand down the best Shanghai cuisine in the city. You can find a lot of the things you can't find elsewhere: savory soy milk, 'vegetarian goose,'knife cut noodles, etc. And yes, the XLB are great. The service can be excruciatingly slow, but the food is worth it.
